AEC is a landing pad for considering trends in art education, pondering shifting pedagogical philosophies, exploring big ideas, and discussing practical applications in the (high school) visual art classroom.
|
AEC is comprised of (primarily high school) Art Educators who are constantly questioning best practices in their particular art classrooms, with their particular students, in their particular demographics. These teachers believe strongly that there is no ONE way of teaching to reach the highest potential of our students. Instead, there is the common belief among these teachers that reflection and responsive strategies are best practice to meet the needs of our students. On these pages, you will find a wide variety of techniques, strategies, philosophical thinking, and resources to help you find the best fit for your students' needs in conjunction with approach and Teaching style. |
